Payback (2016) is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and WWE Network event produced by WWE. It will take place on May 1, 2016 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. It was first rumored to be taking place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on May 22, 2016, however, it switched dates and venues for the Extreme Rules. It will be the fourth event in the Payback chronology.
